4990 Fairmont was approved in 2014 for a 17-story, 71 unit luxury high rise condominium building in downtown Bethesda, MD at the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Fairmont Avenue. Starr Capital managed the approval process in a joint venture with the land owner and sold the site into a joint venture with Duball LLC (www.duball-llc.com) to build and market 4990 Fairmont as the Cheval delivered in 2018. As of June 2019, the building is 75% sold out at proforma prices.

As part of the numerous high rise developments underway or planned for near-term construction, 4990 Fairmont is part of the exciting transformation taking place in Bethesda.
