Starr Capital was formed in 2003 by Timothy S. Eden who has 30 years experience in real estate development, marketing, finance and brokerage. Through institutional joint venture relationships, Starr Capital invests in real estate assets for cash flow and development throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area with a focus on multi-family, retail and hospitality sectors.
Prior to forming Starr Capital, Mr. Eden was Senior Vice President at Walker & Dunlop for equity and debt financing and Senior Vice President at Cassidy & Pinkard, now Cushman & Wakefield, for sales and marketing. In addition, Mr. Eden was Director of Acquisitions for Capital Automotive REIT during its start-up phase. Mr. Eden is a 1979 graduate of Hobart College and served on the Board of Governors as a Trustee from 2008-2016. Eden received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School in 1987.
